Phone Battery is Dying Fast, what should you do ?

Phone Battery is Dying Fast, what should you do ?

Now phone battery life is getting shorter and shorter, because more and more software on the phone, mobile phones more and more intelligent, electricity consumption is getting faster and faster.
You’re on the go—maybe at a conference or in transit or en route to a long meeting—when you realize that your phone is at 10% battery life. As you start to panic about the fact that you forgot your charger at home, it goes down to 9%. Then 8%.
You’re now having a full-on freak-out because you won’t be near your charger anytime soon, and you need access to your phone.
But, before you throw up your hands and give up on life, make sure you’re making the most of the little phone battery power you have left. Yes, that’s right, there is still hope for you. In fact, we’ve compiled a list of quick tips and tricks to save the day when you’re facing this crisis. (And good news, these should work for both iPhone and Android.)

1.Make sure you’ve turned your phone’s brightness all the way down. Yes, it will be hard (and in some cases impossible) to see the screen, but that light saps up phone battery life. So, save it for when you really need it.

2.Next, turn off your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality. Constantly pinging to scan for networks is a big drain that you can easily avoid. Also, if you use a Personal hot spot, shut that down too, otherwise,it will speed up the death of your cell phone battery.

3.Your location is also likely being pinged by a number of apps throughout the day. This is great when you’re looking for nearby restaurants (bars). It’s not so great right now. So, on your iPhone, go to Settings, then Privacy, and then Location Services to turn everything off. And if you are an Android user, go to Settings and turn Location Requests off.

4.Similarly, Background App Refresh allows applications you aren’t using to continue to function. (I know, I know, your phone is oh-so very sketchy). By now you know the drill: Turn them all off. To do that on your iPhone, you need to go to General, then Background App Refresh. And to do that on your Android, go to Settings, then Gear, then Data Usage, and finally, Restrict Background Data.Such , your battery has an opportunity to extend your life.

5.Phone Battery Hacks That will Save You a Panic Attack When You're Seeing Red

6.During the summer and winter, extreme temperatures can drain your phone battery life. The hotter (or colder) your phone gets, the faster your phone battery will head down the drain. If this is the case, keep your phone out of the sunlight, out of the general air, and away from warm surfaces.

7.Finally, my favorite trick—switch your phone to Airplane mode. (Yes, even if you’re not on a plane.) This essentially shuts down the internet, so it’s good for your phone battery and your productivity. Bonus tip: When you only have a limited time to plug in your

Through these tips, you can save your phone battery life . But if this happens to you often, consider splurging for an external battery that fits in your bag.Online  stores like outeccbattery can easily buy  batteries of the right price and quality.

laptop battery is not charging, what can you do?

laptop battery is not charging, what can you do?

Many people 's laptop batteries have all kinds of problems,But one of these problem is very common is that your laptop battery is plugged in but not charging,What should you do?
The following ten methods teach you how to solve:
1.It may sound silly, but look and make sure that your laptop charger is actually plugged in.
2.Check the ends of the connection, look for loose plugs.
3.Check the power cord. Bend it and flex it while checking it for kinks and breaks.
4.Check the plastic coating of the cord for tears or rips.
5.Check the color of the cord for areas that may have been exposed to heat.
6.Check the laptop battery physically for damage.
7.Check the power adapter port on your laptop where you plug the adapter in, it  shouldn’t be wobbly or loose, and the plug should stay in firmly when inserted.
8.Perform a battery test on your laptop.
9.Laptop overheating is also the cause of the laptop battery can not be charging. Does your laptop shut down when it is hot? Your laptop is designed to shut itself down when it overheats to prevent further damage to it’s components. Check the air vents underneath your laptop to ensure they are free from obstructions and clean.
10.If you find that your power adapter is damaged and unable to charge your laptop  battery, you can purchase a replacement online either from the manufacturer or a site like outeccbattery.
laptop battery life is short, because it works all the time ,the consumption is very large. All we have to do is to take care of it ,or buy e new one.

Make Your Laptop Battery Last Longer: 3 Things to Know

Make Your Laptop Battery Last Longer: 3 Things to Know

Does your laptop battery give out a lot sooner than it used to? Are you lucky to get an hour or two of work done before you need to start searching for an AC outlet? Sounds like it's time to think about replacing the battery.
Get reader for sticker shock: laptop batteries are expensive. Prices vary from one model to another, but it's not uncommon for new power packs to sell for $100 or more. I've seen some as high as $150. When you consider that brand-new laptops now sell for as low as $300, that can be a tough pill to swallow.
Whether you’re already in the market for a replacement battery or just concerned about the inevitable day when you will be, here are three things you should know:
    1. Most laptop batteries start to fail in 1-2 years. This varies depending on your usage, of course, but the average laptop battery is good for around 400 recharges (a.k.a. cycles). After that, it starts to lose its capacity to hold a charge.
That’s why the battery that once gave you, say, 3-4 hours’ worth of runtime now peters out after just 1-2 hours. And after a few years, you might be lucky to get an even an hour.
    2. You can extend the life of your current lapotp battery. If you use your laptop as your primary desktop PC, you may be wasting battery cycles by leaving it plugged in all the time.
The solution: pop the battery out until you actually need to go somewhere with your laptop. As long as the latter is plugged into an AC outlet, it doesn’t actually need the battery.
Trust me on this: I’ve seen fairly new laptop batteries that could barely last half an hour, even though the laptop rarely went anywhere. When in doubt, pop it out.
    3. Investigate third-party alternatives. When you do end up needing a replacement battery, you don’t necessarily have to buy one from the laptop manufacturer--paying top dollar in the process.
Instead, search the Web for the laptop make/model and "battery" to see if there are less-expensive third-party options. If your system is a popular model, there almost certainly will be.
Also, be sure to check out outeccbattery Series. These replacement batteries--available for a huge range of laptop models--promise 800 recharge cycles (meaning they should last twice as long as your current laptop battery) and come with a two-year warranty. Plus, they’re priced fairly cheaper save your money and time! High quality & Bottom price &Perfect service.
By the way, you should always, always, always recycle old laptop batteries. Stores like Best Buy, Lowe’s, and Staples have bins or kiosks where you can drop them off.
Okay, your turn: Have you shopped for a replacement laptop battery? If so, how much did you pay? Were you able to find any cheaper alternatives?

Laptop Battery Not Charging, what should I do?

Laptop Battery Not Charging, what should I do?

There are a number of things you should try before you give up and replace the  laptop battery. Let's start with the simplest.
I call it the Battery Reboot. Shut down the PC, unplug it, remove the laptop battery, plug in the laptop, boot up, shut it down again, unplug it, insert the battery, plug it in, and reboot.
Did it work? Oh, well. It was worth a try.
The laptop battery's driver may have become corrupt. If so, uninstalling and reinstalling should fix the problem. But first, just to play it safOnce you're safe, open Device Manager: If you're using Windows XP, clickStart, right-click My Computer, and select Properties. Click the Hardware tab, then the Device Manager button. In Vista or Windows 7, just click Start, typedevice manager, and press ENTER.
Once you're in Device Manager, expand the laptop Batteries section by clicking the little icon to the left of the word Batteries. Right-click Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and select Uninstall. Verify that that's what you want to do. Do not uninstall any other drivers.
        e, create a restore point.
Once that driver has disappeared, click the Action menu at the top of the window and select Scan for hardware changes. This will bring the driver back.
If that doesn't solve your problem, try draining the lapotp battery. Doing this too often will strain the battery and shorten its lifespan. But in an extreme situation like this, it might help and it can't hurt.
But how do you do it? Windows won't let you run the battery all the way down. When it falls below a certain percentage, Windows automatically hibernates itself and powers down the computer. Under normal conditions, this is a good thing. But these aren't normal conditions.
So here's what you do: Run the PC without AC power until Windows hibernates and shuts down the hardware. Then reboot and go immediately to your BIOS Settings screen. I can't tell you exactly how to get there; it varies with different PC models. If you study the screen as it boots, you'll see a message telling you to press a certain key "for setup." Press that key.
This will bring up a text-based full-screen menu system. You don't have to do anything with it. just leave it on that way until the PC shuts down.
Then plug in the AC power and boot to Windows.
If the laptop  battery still isn't recharging, I've got bad news for you: Your battery is as dead as John Cleese's parrot. It happens. They don't live forever.
You have three options: You can buy a replacement laptop battery from the manufacturer, search online for a better price, or accept that you now have an AC-only laptop.

Breakthrough Battery Technology Could Charge Your Phone In Seconds

Breakthrough Battery Technology Could Charge Your Phone In Seconds

Smartphones are great at doing about everything except staying alive for more than a day.
Limited by the lithium-ion batteries that power them, even the most advanced smartphones can take hours to fully charge from nothing.
Now though, a team of scientists from the University of Waterloo have developed an alternative battery technology that can still hold the same capacity as before but could potentially be charged in just seconds.

These devices known as super capacitors are capable of incredibly fast charging speeds but have always been limited by the fact they cannot store them amount of the energy required by modern smartphones.
This new breakthrough however effectively doubles the storage capacity of these super capacitors, finally placing them within reach of the technology we currently use.
To achieve this, the scientists created a method where they would coat atomically thin layers of the superconductor graphene with an oily liquid salt.
This not only doubles the capacity of the battery by separating the sheets of graphene but the liquid salt also acts as the electrolyte needed to store the energy in the first place.
“We’re showing record numbers for the energy-storage capacity of super capacitors,” said Michael Pope, a professor of chemical engineering who led the Waterloo research. “And the more energy-dense we can make them, the more batteries we can start displacing.”
In the short term Pope believes that this technology could be used to replace lead acid batteries in cars or to capture energy produced by cars braking.
In the long term however there’s every chance that these batteries could be used in consumer products including smartphones, tablets and portable games consoles.
“If they’re marketed in the correct ways for the right applications, we’ll start seeing more and more of them in our everyday lives,” Pope said.

Your Dead Laptop Battery needs to be revived

Your Dead Laptop Battery needs to be revived

A lot of people have a wrong idea about laptop battery maintaince. They add new life to your NiMH or NiCD laptop battery by placing it in a tightly-sealed plastic bag and freezing it for 12 hours. If you have a Lithium Ion or Lithium Polymer battery, however, freezing it is actually dangerous. Instead, consider doing a battery calibration, which will both restore and prolong your battery power. While these methods won’t make your battery as good as new (you may only gain about thirty minutes of extra charge time from an older battery that no longer holds a charge), they will help you get the most of your laptop battery until you can buy a neW one

Reviving a NiMH or NiCD Battery in the Freezer

1
Determine if you have the right type of battery for this method. First, this method won’t work for Macs, as they all have lithium batteries. Your laptop battery has to be NiMH or NiCD in order for this method to work. If you do this method with the wrong battery, the battery will likely be destroyed.
Turn the computer off, then open the battery cover (typically on the bottom of the laptop). If the laptop battery says something like Li-ion, Li-on, Li-ion II, Lithium, LiPo, you do not have the proper battery for this method.
If you are unable to read the text on the battery (perhaps it rubbed off), call your computer manufacturer to find out, or use a different method.
If your NiMH or NiCD battery no longer holds a charge at all, this method may only get you an additional 30 minutes or so of laptop battery charge capability, which is much better than 0 minutes. If the battery is simply draining too quickly, you may be able to get better results with this method.
2
Remove your NiMH or NiCD battery. With the computer turned off, gently remove the battery from the laptop. The laptop battery should come out without having to use much force.
3
Place the battery in a sealed plastic bag. Any high-quality sealable bag will work. It’s important to make sure the bag is completely sealed and contains no holes.
4
Put the bagged battery in the freezer for about 12 hours. Don’t leave the laptop battery in there much longer than that, as freezing it for too long could cause it to explode.
5
Remove the bag from the freezer. Take the laptop battery out of the bag and let it warm up to room temperature, drying it occasionally with a towel if it appears damp. Let the battery warm back up to room temperature for up to 30 minutes before continuing.
6
Put the battery back into the laptop. If there is a cover that goes over your laptop battery, slide it securely into place as well.
7
Connect the laptop to a power source. Without turning the computer back on, plug the machine back in to a power source and leave it this way overnight (or for several hours during the day).
8
Drain the battery. To drain the battery quickly, it’s best to turn the computer on, unplug it from the power source, and do something system-intensive, such as watching a video with the screen brightness turned up.
9
Charge and drain your laptop battery again. Do this step at least twice, but preferably 4-5 times. Once you’ve followed these steps, your formerly-dead battery should now hold a charge for a least a half hour, hopefully more.

Re-calibrating Any Laptop Battery

1
Determine if this method is right for you. This method will work for any type of laptop battery. Re-calibrating the battery fixes issues where the battery meter on your laptop no longer appears accurate. It also does a complete discharge and recharge, which can add extra life to your laptop battery.
2
Charge the battery to a 100% charge. It doesn’t matter whether the computer is off or on for this step, but you’ll need to have the computer turned on eventually to know whether or not the battery has reached a full charge. Once the battery meter reaches 100% leave the computer plugged in to the power source for two more hours
3
Drain the laptop battery. Disconnect the laptop from the power source and drain the battery completely. You can speed up this process by using the computer to do something system-intensive, such as watching a movie or editing video.
4
Leave the computer unplugged for 3 to 5 hours after the drain. This will ensure that any phantom power is fully drained from the unit.
00001.
5
Fully charge the battery. Charge the battery back up to the 100% mark. At this point, your laptop battery has been recalibrated

Performing a Full Recharge

1
Decide whether this method is right for you. Doing a full recharge will work on any laptop hardware, no matter the battery type. Try this method if your battery is draining more quickly than it used to.
2
Completely drain the battery. Even if the computer is turned off, the battery may still have enough charge to power the LED power light. You'll know the battery is completely drained when the power light no longer blinks.
3
Charge the laptop battery with the computer turned off. Plug the computer back in to begin the charging process, but don’t turn the computer on. If the computer turns on without your prompting, shut it down right away.
4
Leave the computer charging (and turned off) for 48 hours. Don’t turn the computer on for the entire 48 hour charging period.
5
Turn the computer back on after 48 hours. The laptop battery should now be able to hold a charge better than before.
Different methods are used for different laptop batteries,,master these methods ,no matter what problems we can solve.

4 secret ways to revive any dead phone battery

4 secret ways to revive any dead phone battery

With mobile phones now widely used across almost every age group, phone battery is also  widely used ,people increasingly experience diminishing standby times following prolonged use.

But why does this occur? It's primarily caused by the quality of the phone battery. This is why maintenance of your phone battery is crucial to improve longevity, but it's never too late. In this practical guide, I will highlight the main methods to easily and quickly prolong your battery's lifespan.

Method 1: Wipe and clean your mobile phone

After long term use, the metal surface of the lithium battery and even the contacts can suffer from oxidation. This may shorten the lifespan and effectiveness of the lithium battery. Carefully and routinely remove any residue/rust that has built up to ensure the battery has a clean contact with the phone.
To do this, gently wipe the metal contents of the battery and your mobile phone with a suitable cleaning tool. This also improves recharging efficiency and the battery use duration.

Method 2: Bring a dead battery back to life by freezing

Lithium reactions in batteries work using a charge-discharge process in which positive and negative electric charges collide with each other. Under normal room temperature, the kinetic energy is relatively sizeable, however as the battery is maintaining an active/ready state, electric leakage can frequently occur. However, under low temperature conditions, the lithium coating on the battery's surface, along with the electrolyte micro-structure and the interface will be significantly altered leading to a temporary inactive state that minimizes electric leakage. This extends the phone battery's lifespan allowing it to be recharged across more cycles.
Step 1:
Wrap your ageing phone battery in old newspaper and rewrap it with plastic film 2 times. Alternatively, place the phone battery inside a tightly sealed plastic bag that prevents it from getting wet.
Step 2:
Place the battery in the ice compartment of your fridge, and take it out after 3 days.
Step 3:
Remove the wrapping and place the battery in cool location away from direct sunlight for 2 days.
Step 4:
Insert the battery into your phone but don't power on your device. Instead, plug the phone into the proper charger and allow the device to charge for 48 hours.
After the device has charged for 48-hours, turn the device on and check the phone battery power level. If successful, this method will have revived your previously dead battery allowing it to hold a charge again.

Method 3: Try jump starting the battery

This method is generally effective for mobile phone batteries that have either reached their lifespan limit or have been left discharged for a long period of time; they eventually lose their ability to hold a charge. In fact, this can also occur to a phone battery during long distance shipping, due to the travel time from one country to another. But now you can learn how to resolve the issue yourself.

Before doing this, you will need the following:
    • 9V battery, for its easy-to-access terminals
    • A length of split wire to connect to the battery
    • Electrical tape to secure the wire
    • The battery itself

Step 1:
The positive and negative terminals on the 9V battery will be clearly marked. Identify them and connect the corresponding side of your wire to each terminal, being sure to cover the connection with electrical tape for safety.
Step 2:
On your cell phone battery, the positive and negative terminals will also be marked. Connect the wire to these as well, remembering again to secure with electrical tape.
Warning: Don't connect a positive side to a negative side.
Step 3:
Leave the batteries connected for between 10 to 60 seconds, or just long enough for your cell phone battery to get warm. Monitor the temperature and time closely.
Step 4:
As soon as the battery becomes warm, disconnect the batteries immediately. DO NOT try to fully charge your cell phone battery this way. Place the battery into your phone. You may need to charge the battery the rest of the way as normal, then try to power on the phone.

Method 4: A small bulb may help

Fully discharge the ageing battery and recharge it to activate it. By doing this kind of deep discharging, the aim is to prime the battery for deeper recharging by fully draining out internal energy first.
You will need 2 pieces of wires here and connect it to the positive and negative pole of your phone battery.
Following this, connect your phone to a 1.5V small bulb.
Any residual power contained in the battery will be transferred to the bulb until it has been fully exhausted.
Note: the bulb light will gradually grow dimmer until there is no light emitted. This method is not the most effective, but it works to some extent.

Actually, the best method is daily care. You should adhere to the standard charging procedures and times as close as possible, it’s better to do this during the initial 3 times, and ideally from the first time. When your phone shows the low battery warning, try your best to charge it immediately.
Finally, avoid charging your phone overnight, even if it's a habit, due to the impact that unstable charging voltage can have on your phone battery.
These methods teach you how to maintan your mobile phone battery ,hope to be useful to you.
