Some of our customers responded to us the problem that not power up or charge about Bose Soundlink Mini.In this guide,we summarize the solutions to help you throught them.
Solutions 1
Try to reboot the system's processor. Even though its powered off, the system maintains a level of standby power. This removes all power and reboots the system.
Connect the speaker to power again. Press and hold the Multi-function button for 10 seconds. While continuing to hold the button, unplug the speaker from power. Then release the Multi-function button.Then re-connect it to power.
Make sure the software up-to-date.
Solutions 2
Make sure you are using the Bose power supply that shipped with your speaker. While the speaker can be physically connected to other USB power chargers, the Bose power supply is recommended for best results
If you are using a surge protector, try plugging directly into a working wall outlet
Solutions 3
Go with the solution 1,2,if the issue continues to persist ,maybe there are some problem with the button switch circuit board . Try to replace this part if the buttons on the speaker no longer work properly. Follow the guide step by step to replace this part.
Tool : T8 Torx Screwdriver, Spudger
Step1: Open the rubber battery cover and remove the four screws using a T8 Torx Screwdriver.Then pull straight up on the battery to remove it.
Step 2:Insert the Spudger between the rubber edge on the grille and the aluminum casing.Place Spudger in the location shown.Gentlely and Slowly pry up the grille until the two tabs shown pop out.
Step3: The grille is attached to the speaker with double sided sticky tape. To remove the grill gently pull upward while keeping tension to the right. Be very gentle, the grille will bend.
Step4: Using the T8 Torx Screwdriver to remove the eight screws as the picture shows.Remove the circuit board by pushing it with your index finger in the direction shown while using a nylon or metal spudger to lift it up and out of place.
Step5: Carefully pull on the battery cover until the rubber tab slides out of the aluminum casing.Gently pull out the wire strip from the circuit board.
Step6: Use the Spudger to pry up the plastic divider.When removing the plastic divider be careful not to damage the wire strip sliding through it.
Step7:Reach through the battery compartment hole and unplug the power strip shown.Remove both circuit boards by wiggling them up and out of the casing.Unplug the speaker wires connected and fully remove both circuit boards.When unplugging the speaker wires, squeeze the white connector piece to release the wires.
Step8:Unhook the speaker wires clipped onto the button switch circuit board. Use the spudger to slightly lift up on the button switch circuit board.
Pull the button switch circuit board straight out from the casing.
